Growing Faith

Explore Bible-based teachings that help children understand faith, develop trust in God, and see their value in His story.

What Jesus Teaches About Children

Throughout the Gospels, Jesus speaks about children in ways that elevate their value and place them at the center of important spiritual truths. He welcomes them, teaches about their importance, and uses their lives as examples of faith.

His words remind us that children are seen, valued, and loved by God.

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

- Matthew 19:14 (NIV)

"Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."

- Matthew 18:3 (NIV)

"If anyone causes one of these little ones-those who believe in me-to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea."

- Matthew 18:3 (NIV)

All Children are Valuable to God

The interactions and teachings of Jesus show us the importance of children to God's plan and their spiritual significance.

Humility & Innocence

Children model a heart that is open, teachable, and willing to grow. Jesus points to this poster as an essental faith.

Care & Protection

Jesus made it clear that children are to be protected and valued. How they are treated is of high priority.

Faith & Trust

Children often trust fully and depend on others for care. Jesus uses this as an example of what it means to trust God.

A Welcoming Spirit

Children are not to be overlooked. They are to be included, valued, and embraced as part of God's kingdom.

  • How do their challenges shape their trust in God?

  • What does their story show about God's care and purpose?

These moments invite reflection and a deeper understanding of how faith grows over time.
